However, please consider this more as a donation to the church rather than buying a ticket.

Cemetery Plots: Please remember that we still have some plots available at our Orthodox section at the Wallkill cemetery. It is always a good thing to be prepared before you are grief stricken and need to make decisions you are not prepared to make. Each plot is $1200 each and you may call the church office for more information.

Toaster: The Men's ministry purchased a four slot toaster for the coffee hour for those who wish to toast bagels, muffins or bread. It is placed in the corner where the coffee pot is located. STAINED GLASS WINDOW    In our continuing effort to adorn and glorify our beautiful house of God we installed to first stained glass window. It is a temporary installation that requires trimming so we ask you not to touch the window when you see it. A second window is donated and is being made. If you wish to make a donation in honor or memory for anyone, or to simply make it a gift the donation is $3,000. There are five more windows to be covered.

FRONT DOORS    As you can see the front doors to the church have been removed for restoration. They were damaged by sun, rain and wind and some parts need to be replaced. As many of you already know the making of the doors was originally donated by a prison inmate with permission from the supervisor and we thank them both for allowing this restoration work. Hopefully they will be completed in a week or two.

GYRO WAGON        The Greek school is having a fund raiser with a Gyro wagon in the parking lot This of course is for the general public, but we too may support their efforts by having lunch outside. STEWARDSHIP WITH LABOR       We wish to remind you that we do not have a maintenance person at the church yet many small jobs are required. We are counting on some of our parishioners with certain talents to lend a hand from time to time. For instance, a sink in the downstairs kitchenette needs installation with some other small plumbing jobs, weather stripping too needs to be installed on the outside doors. Right now we have volunteers to change locks, painting, small electrical needs, etc.   Just ask Father Chris what you can do and we will supply the material. You may come at your own convenience during the day or evening.

NO SOLICITING       With the beginning of school many children are asked to sell things. It is the churches policy that children or adults are not to approach people directly during coffee hour. However you may set up a table and allow the people come to you without pressure to buy. To set up a table you must ask permission first.
