PROSFORO Please remember that a Prosforo baking will be held on Saturday September 11 at 10am. Please join the ladies, and if you never baked this bread and always wanted to this is the time to learn.

ICONS We thank David and Melina Hale for ordering the Icon of Saint Pelagia that will adorn the walls of our church. They live on Long Island and have a love for this parish and, therefore made this offer. Melina is the daughter of Gregory Millio whose mother was named Pelagia. If anyone else wishes to make an offer the donation is $1,000 as a fund raiser towards the building fund.

CNN INTERNATIONAL This coming Tuesday August 31st, 8:30a.m., and 1p.m. CNN's "World Untold Stories" will air a program entitled "Turkey's Dwindling Greek Christians". This may be interesting for our Greek community and others to watch, especially now with the controversial Muslim situation in New York City and around the world.

STEWARDSHIP If you have not made your commitment for the year yet now is the time to fill out your pledge card. As always the church asks you to be generous and if you can we encourage you to be a "1000 Steward" by offering $1,000 or more. May our Lord bless your giving to His Holy house?

STEWARDSHIP NEEDS If you can:

(1) we need two sinks and one toilet to be installed.

(2) the loud speaker and stereo need adjusting.

(3) Steps need to be installed for the stage. We already have the equipment and all we need is the knowhow and labor. If you are inclined in these area please see Father Chris.

25TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY JOURNAL We are now accepting ads for our 25th year journal commemorating this land mark event of our parish. Please participate by honoring or memorializing loved ones. Family photos are a wonderful way of preserving memories of our love for our church. A booth is set up in the coffee hour area.

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION Next month we will begin accepting registration for our children. If this is the first time for your child please prepare them for this by allowing them to sit in the Sunday school section during the Divine Liturgy. Remember the best teachers of the Faith are the parents who ought to set a good example for them by coming early to church, reading the Bible to them, helping them with prayer and teaching them moral behavior.

MEMORIAL Today's annual memorial service is for Paula the beloved wife of Gregory Millio, and mother of Melina Hale and Mary. May her soul forever dwell in God's Kingdom.

BLOOD DRIVE This is taking place today in our parking lot for those who wish to donate blood; also a notice was sent out to the general public for their participation. This is a community service to the County of Orange sponsored by our Ladies Philoptochos. We wish them success in this project hoping it will be an annual event.

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION Next month we will begin accepting registration for our children. If this is the first time for your child please prepare them for this by allowing them to sit in the Sunday school section during the Divine Liturgy. PROSFORO This word in Greek means to offer.
This bread is used when preparing the "Lamb" during the Divine Liturgy. When women bake this bread it is a love offering to the Lord and ought to be baked prayerfully without outside distraction. It was suggested that a group of ladies gather one Saturday a month to bake a few loafs and we already have two that will come. A suggested date is Saturday, September 11 at 10am and it should be done by 1pm. If you wish to join them, or wish to learn how to bake prosforo with these ladies, please let Despina Mandas know.

ICONS We just mounted two Icons on the walls that are decorating our church; Saint Agnes and Saint Andrew the Commander. We are awaiting two others to be prepared; Prophet Zacharias and Theotokos of the living fountain (Zoodoxos Pygi). Recently a request was made foi Saint Pelagia and we still have room on our church walls. Is there a Saint you wish to honor that is not already on the wall? Please see Father Chris and let him know what Saint you want.

CHURCH DOORS Restoration of these front doors is being made by Taso Gallos and we thank him for his Stewardship effort. Taso has done many other works in the church without asking foi anything in return. This is the meaning of Stewardship and we thank him a great deal.

ARTOCLASIA Today's "Breaking of the Bread" service is offered by the Mandas family asking for the intercessions of the Theotokos to her Son for health and happiness for the entire family.

GREEK CUISINE The parish council is considering holding a Greek lunch and dinner fund raiser that will invite the general community of Middletown hoping that it will be well attended. It will be a sit down dinner served featuring roasted lamb, pastichio, gyro platters, etc. The profits will be directed to the building fund where we hope to make the finishing touches to the building. Please plan to attend but most especially let your friends and neighbors know and encourage them to come. A date will be coming shortly.

ORTHODOX FAMILY DAY
Our Hudson Valley Priest's association has determined this year's date for the annual Orthodox Family Day held at Saint Basil Academy. It will be held on Saturday September 25th from 11am to 4pm and we are asking you to reserve that date. Saint Basil and the Hudson Valley Pan Gregorian group will sponsor this event at no cost to you. We expect all our youth groups to attend with their family, and hope all our parishioners will come.

STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE We have a new Stewardship committee who will oversee this vital program to our church hoping we may encourage those who have not yet made your commitment to the church. Also, we are seeking to bring other Orthodox Christians outside the church to be members of this Holy House. If you have not yet made your pledge please do so today.

GREAT VESPERS Vesper service will be held at the Kimisis Tis Theotokos church in Poughkeepsie this coming Saturday August 14th a 7pm. Father Chris will be attending and if anyone wishes a ride let him know. He will be leaving the parking lot at 5:30pm. A Lenten meal will be served after the service.

SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST We are in the second week of the August fast and Paraklesis services will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. Or course, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these beautiful salutations to the Mother of God.

DIVINE LITURGY This coming Friday August 6th we will celebrate the Holy Transfiguration of out Lord at 9:30am. This is a great Holy day of the church and if you can attend please come.

FOURTEEN DAYS OF AUGUST Today begins the fourteen day fast of the Falling asleep of the Theotokos, and Paraklesis services will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings for the next two weeks all at 7pm. Please try to keep the fast to the best your strength allows, then on the 15th we will celebrate the feast day of Mary the Mother of our Lord.

CEMENT WORK Thanks again to George Morfetas for his generous donation of the building of the steps and walkway to the church hall, and thanks to Jose Rodriques for his work on repairing the existing steps, building a platform on the side of the church, building a retaining wall and other needs inside the church area. These two have done a great deal in our effort to complete our building project. Thank you to both.

BOY SCOUT TROOP Welcome Troop 715 from Brooklyn who comes to our Divine Liturgy before camping. This has become an annual event and we really enjoy having them along with their scout master Jim Anthathatos.

CLEAN-UP We are getting close to needing the downstairs area and still we need to clean-up the rooms from debris left over from construction. This coming Saturday the 24th we can use /our help please come and let Father Chris know that you will be here.

SHELVES We have heavy duty shelves that need to be erected in the basement and again we are looking for volunteers. While we have the clean-up crew working it would nice to put these shelves up for storage. Let Father Chris know if you are willing to come next Saturday the 24th at 10am.

Veloudos, President, Karen Capelli, Vice President. Anastasia Varianides, Treasurer and Trini Giagiakos, Secretary. They will take their oath of office today.

HOLY CROSS MEN'S MINISTRY This group of men will meet this coming Saturday the 17th at 9a.m. and they will discuss matters concerning the welfare of the church. It is a worthwhile group that would like to have more members and ask all men to consider coming to this meeting to see what they are all about. Dr. Emmanuel Martakis is President.

CLEAN-UP We had a wonderful group come last Saturday for clean up and much of the
classroom area was done. Also, the old basement was partially completed but we need more work to be done, and to assemble shelves. We are looking to get a crew for Saturday the 24th, however, if anyone wishes to come at a more convenient time for yourself let Father Chris know. Thanks again to last week's crew.

SODA SALE Soda left over from the festival is on sale at 4 cases for only $10. You may put the money in this envelope and take the soda at anytime. No need to see anyone just take what you purchase.

25th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE BOOK The 25th anniversary committee is preparing a commemorative book for our Anniversary and we hope all our parishioner will participate by entering a page and obtaining pages from your friends, neighbor, vendor, etc. It is important that this book be successful in that it is a once in a lifetime event for our parish. Anthony Vikos is chairman and more information will be forthcoming.

ICON STORE Constandina Frangimone is managing the Icon store while Sophia Vikos is handling the finances. If there is anything you wish to order you may see either of these ladies and they will be glad to accommodate. The store is always open for you to browse.

NEW LITURGY BOOKS New Divine Liturgy books replacing older ones were purchased for our use during the Liturgy, and we thank Lucille Kallas for her generosity. These books are meant for us to follow the Liturgy, and to participate by singing the responses between Priest and parishioners. Also, they are for church use only and should not be taken out of the church. However, books are on sell at the Icon store for private use also. Thanks again to Lucille.

DIVINE LITURGY On Tuesday June 29th at 9:30 am we will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in honor of Saints Peter & Paul. If you do not have obligations that morning we encourage you to attend the Liturgy of these two Great Apostles and Martyrs of the Church. Also, the Apostolic fast ends directly after the Liturgy.

STEWARDSHIP

PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS Our ladies are planning a blood drive here at our church on Sunday July 25th, and they will let you know the details as it come in. A new group of officers have been elected and they are seeking more ladies from our community to join this group. Many philanthropic and church projects are being planned and your input is important. Please plan on coming to the next meeting.

PHILOPTOCHOS LADIES New officers have been elected at their last meeting and they are: loanna Veloudos - President, Karen Capelli - Vice President, Trini Giagiakos - Secretary, and Anastasia Varianides - Treasurer. This group is representative of our Holy Cross parish here in Middletown and Nationally. Their goal is Philanthropy and they need more ladies of our church to work with them. Wonders can be seen if your heart is in the right place, and you are willing to give some of your time to this good and worthy cause. Ladies please join them.

STEWARDSHIP If you are not yet a committed Steward of the church please get you pledge card today and make your pledge for the year. If you are 18 years or older and not a student then you are independent of you parents and ought to be an individual Steward. Cards are available at the candle stand and church office. Please ask for one.

BUILDING PROJECT We are getting closer to getting our partial CO with the work in progress, but we still need people to clean up in some areas. Some Goyan mothers and their children cleaned up the main hall as you will see today, but we need a crew of helpers to clean other areas. We will not bring inspectors in a messy area and it doesn't make sense to hire help when we ought to do it ourselves. We want to set-up a clean-up date for Saturday July 3rd at 10a.m. If you are willing to come please see Father Chris and we will do it together.

MEN'S MINISTRY Next Saturday June 19th at 9 a.m. the Men's ministry will hold its monthly meeting to discuss matters of concern for the Church. This group has benefitted the church in many areas and is still seeking to do more. All men of the parish are welcome, especially if you have any ideas, and are willing to commit yourself to a few hours a month to the Church. Dr. Emmanuel Martakis is President and you may let him know that you will come to the meeting on Saturday.

GREEK SCHOOL GRADUATION This coming Thursday June 17th at 5:30 p.m. the Greek school will finish the season with a Blessing of the water service and pizza party.

MORE FESTIVALS Today is the last day that St. Nicholas in Newburgh and Assumption Church in Danbury Ct. are holding their festival for anyone wishing to attend. Next weekend the Kimisis Tis Theotokos church in Poughkeepsie will have their festival from Thursday to Sunday.

FORTY-DAY BLESSING Today's forty-day blessing is for infant Casandra the daughter of James and Jamie Enos. May the entire family be blessed with peace and good health all their days.

SUNDAY & GREEK SCHOOL GRADUATION
Next Sunday June 13th is graduation for our Sunday school children and all of them ought to be here to receive their certificates and pins. Please be sure that they are present for this occasion. Also, the Greek school graduation will be held on Thursday 17th at 5:30pm. An ayiamos "blessing of the water" service will take place then pizza will be served. HIGH SCHOOL GRADS They also next Sunday will receive a gif! given by the Philoptochos ladies.

GREEK COOK BOOK The Philoptochos ladies have printed the second edition of their Holy Cross Cook Book and it is now on sale for only $15.00. This edition includes many new meal recipes along with recipes for baking Prosphora, Koliva, Easter bread, Tsoureki and other specialties. It's a wonderful book to have in the kitchen and you may ask any of the ladies for a copy. The soups are great too.

DIAPER CHANGER
We wish to install a diaper changer in the ladies room and are looking for a donor of this equipment. Thi cost is $300 for anyone wishing to make the offer. We just heard that a collection is being made to raise this amount and if you want to offer anything see loanna V.

FESTIVAL
With deep appreciation the church thanks those who worked so hard to make our festival a success. This is not an easy task since we all have so many other things to. Again, we thank you all who gave of yourselves for the betterment of the church.

CHILDREN'S BIBLE IN GREEK, ENGLISH OR SPANISH
The Greek Bible is a wonderful tool for our children who are learning Greek. It gives them the better reading skills while learning Scripture. Also, these bibles come in English and by request in Spanish. They make wonderful gifts for our children, godchildren and friends.

MAVRODAPHNE /PROSPHORO This wine is used for Holy Communion and the Altar is running low on supplies. It is always offered by the faithful and if anyone wishes to purchases a bottle or two the Greek specialty food store have some bottles for sale. Also, the Communion Bread is offered by the ladies of the church and if you wish to bake some loaves this too is a fine offering. If you have not baked prosphoro before we will give you the recipe. The store also has the seal for baking prosphoro.

ARTOCLASIA Today's "Breaking of the Bread" service is for George Mandas and George Bellesis in honor of their namesake Saint George. May our good and gracious Lord bless them with health and prosperity all their families all their days.

ICONS
We recently received the Icon of Saint Timothy and it will be mounted on our walls in the continuation of adorning our Church. If anyone wishes to donate an Icon that is not already on the walls please see Father Chris and he will order it for you. The donation is $1,000 that will be put in the building fund of our parish.

YIAYIA'S ATTIC
It is time to be collecting items again for the festival and if you have things you do not use anymore then please bring them and place in the large hall for storage. Thanks again for your support.

MARBLE COLUMNS If anyone wishes to make the generous donation of the marble columns and railings at the back of the church please see Father Chris and we will make the order. This will complete the Interior of the church, except for the bump-out of the Bishop's Throne. These columns are already selected and can be installed within a month. The donation is $10,000 and if the Holy Spirit inspires you to make the offer then the whole community benefits.

FESTIVAL Our annual festival if fast approaching and as always we need hands to bake, set-up, clean-up and work during the festival. DIVINE LITURGY A Divine Liturgy in honor of Saint George the Great Martyr will be celebrated this coming Friday April 23rd at 9:30am. If you able to attend please do so, especially if you are named after this Great Saint of the Church.

GREAT VESPERS Our sister church Saint George in Kingston has invited us to their Vesper service that will be held on Thursday evening April 22nd at 7pm. Refreshments will be served after the service and we encourage all of you to come. Father has two more spaces in his car if you wish to come with him. He wil be leaving our parking lot at 5:20pm. Let him know that you will be going.

TRISION SERVICE Today's six month Trision memorial service is for Gerasimos the beloved father of Peter, Fotios and Spiros Manouvelos, and annual for Joachim the beloved father of Jose Rodrigues. May their memory be eternal.

PARENTS SEMINAR The ladies Philoptochos is sponsoring this seminar by asking Pediatrician Dr. Emmanuel Martakis to speak on Obesity and Diabetes in children. With this epidemic raging across our country we know that parents will want to come. However, everyone is invited to this most interesting subject. This is scheduled for Sunday May 16, at 4pm. More details are forthcoming.

CHURCH PICNIC Remember that this coming Saturday April 24th at 12 noon to 5pm we are having our 25th Anniversary church picnic. The cost is only $5 per person, $20 maximum for the immediate family. There are games, races and other activities for the children. We are roasting lamb on the spit and others are asked to bring a dish. Please plan to come to this fun filled day. Tents are also provided. The rain date is the following Sunday.

A PASCHAL THANK YOU!

This Thank you is to all who worked to make Lent, Holy Week and Pascha the joyous occasion that it was! Thanks for the flowers and set-up during Lenten service, thanks for the George's Palm Sunday dinner, and baking of the tsoureki (Easter bread). Thanks to the parish council for being at all the services and making the candles, and so much more. Thanks to those who supported the church with donations for the flowers and Easter offering. Thanks for the Paschal lamb dinner, and for other things not mentioned.

In all we are a wonderful Christian community because of our joy in the Lord, and may our gracious Lord.

GREEK SCHOOL PLAY & MEAL Today our Greek school children will present a short presentation after the Divine Liturgy, and will also sponsor a coffee hour meal. The cost again is minimal at $8 per person with a maximum of $20 for the immediate family. This supports the Greek school.

GEORGE'S DINNER & TSOUREKI The profit from the dinner was $611, and thanks to Despina Mandas for co-coordinating the affair. The profit from the tsoureki was $1,570 and we thank Georgia Chambers and Lori Panagiotopoulos for baking, selling and contributing the ingredients. These funds are given to the building fund.

ICONS With the expansion of our church more wall space is available for Icons that beautifully adorn our church. We had two more families who donated Saint Eleutherios (Diakopoulos), and Saint Anastasia (Keriazes) that will be added to the Saints. A suggestion list will be made in the Crossroads, such as, Saints Theodore, Luke, Kyriaki, Agnes, Dionysios, Gregory, Pelagia, Photini, Calliope, Euphrosinios, etc.

PHILOPTOCHOS-STUFFED ANIMALS The Middletown Fire Police are seeking new teddy bear and other stuffed animals that will be given to children as a calming aid during a traumatic incident in their lives. Our ladies have taken up this worthy project and are asking the community to donate. A box will be placed in the hall area. The gift must be new and the ladies thank you for your participation.

THANK YOU We thank the ladies of the Philoptochos who organized the Pre-Sanctified meal last Wednesday. It was very well done, and the food was delicious. Also, we thank the other ladies who assisted and those who brought a dish. We and our visitors were well pleased.

25TH ANNIVERARY MEETING Next Saturday at 10am a history of the church for the journal will be held and if you have anything to contribute please attend. Also, at the last meeting it was decided to have a 25th anniversary picnic and that is scheduled for Saturday April 24th. We will have a lamb roast as the main course and children games. The cost is only $5 per person with a maximum of $20, for the immediate family.

SUNDAY OF ORTHODOXY Today we celebrate the first Sunday of Lent that commemorates the restoration of Icons in the church. Hopefully you brought your Icon (s) from home and near the end of the Liturgy we will have a procession around the church. Everyone with an Icon may follow the procession.

VESPER SERVICE Today at 4pm a Sunday of Orthodox service will be held at the Saints Constantine & Helen church in West Nyack, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Fr. Chris will be leaving our parking lot at 2:45 if you wish to go with him. Two more spaces are available.

SAINT BASIL ACADEMY Last Sunday we passed a tray for our Saint Basil Academy of who's only support is the churches in America. A tray will not be passed today, however if you wish to donate the Philoptochos basket is left in the Narthex area for those who did not yet make an offer, or if you wish to give more. The ladies will match the donation given by the people.

ALTAR BOY MEETING Next Saturday Feb.27th at 10 am in the church. All our boys and those who are ready to be Altar servers and a parent are to attend then we will have lunch (Italian food for Lent). There is no cost for the lunch.

PROSPHORO SEALS The food store has prosphoro seals for sale. It is a good thing for more women to bake this holy bread and offer it to the church for consecration. A recipe will be given to you if this would be your first attempt at baking this bread. Also, it is more so traditional for men to offer the communion wine, and this too is on sale at the store.

CHILDREN'S BIBLE These wonderfully illustrated bibles are now available in the Icon store. Also, we have Holy Week books that allows you to really get into these services with a greater understanding of what is being said. See Sophia V the store manager. DIVINE LITURGY - SATURDAY OF SOULS Next Saturday February 6th we will celebrate the first Saturday of Souls for this coming Lent. If you wish to have names of departed loved ones read please fill out the form that is on the candle stand. Offer the names only once and they will be read at the following two Saturday of souls services as well.

FORTY-DAY MEMORIAL Today's forty day memorial service is for John the beloved son of Soterios and Donna Lagakos, and sister Anthoula. May his soul forever dwell in God's Kingdom.

CONFESSION With Lent approaching it is good to receive the Sacrament of Holy Confession. See Father and make an appointment.

KOLYVA With the Saturday of souls services approaching it is proper to prepare Kolyva (boiled wheat) in memory of loved ones and bring it to the church where prayers are read over them. It is always good to prepare this yourself, however if you are not inclined to make it and wish to have a dish made for you Georgia Chambers will make a dish for $25.00 that will be offered back to the churches building fund. These Saturdays are February 6, 13 and 20.

HAITI In the two trays that we passed we collected exactly $1,000. This will be sent to the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) to use for the aid of the Haitian people. Than! you to all who contributed for this worthy cause.

INDEPENDENT STEWARDS !f you are eighteen years or older then you ought to be an independent Steward of the church. Please fill out your pledge card and place in the offering tray or, bring it to the church office. If you are a student then you still are under your parents stewardship, if you are working than please be generous to your church by making your pledge from the heart. An offering of $20.00 a week would make you a "Steward 1000" contributor.

HOLY WEEK BOOKS The Icon store has just received a supply of Holy Week books that are of great benefit for those who wish to follow the services at that most holy time. It is a wonderful book to keep in your library and use throughout the year anytime you wish to read for spiritual inspiration. The cost is $29.99 and you may ask Sophia the store manager for a copy. Also, the Children's Bibles are in for those who ordered them the cost is $24.99 and extras are available.

PROSPHORA This bread that is prepared for Holy Communion and is baked by the women of our parish. Everyone is welcome to bake and offer it to the priest. A special seal is used and while baking prayers ought to be offered (Bible reading or other prayers). We expect to have a supply of these seals coming in and if you do not know how to bake this bread we will also give you a recipe.

LENT BEGINS
Lent begins early this year and we ought to be prepared. Please follow the February calendar and follow the days of Lenten services and try to attend as many of them as you can. Lent begins on Monday, February 15

BLESSING OF HOMES
Father Chris will be blessing homes after the Epiphany service on January 6th. If you would like Father to come to your home for a blessing please call the church office or see Father and Arrange a time.

STEWARDSHIP 2010
Pledge cards for 2010 have been sent to your homes. The Church is supported by the faithful and we ask you to be as generous as you can. If you are financially blessed enough to be a Steward 1000 or more than please make this offer. Others are asked to give to the best of your ability to God for all He has blessed you with. Your pledge may be paid throughout the year making it easier for most. Ask for weekly envelopes.

EIGHTEEN OR OLDER
If you are 18 or older and not a student then it is time for you to be an independent Steward of the Church. Please fill out your Stewardship pledge card and offer whatever you can to your Holy Cross Church. Remember, if you are not working then you offer less than if you had a job. Do the best
that you can, but it is important that you be a Steward of the Church.

25™ ANNIVERSARY DANCE
In 2010 our Holy Cross Church will be celebrating its 25th anniversary of incorporation into the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese. We plan to mark the occasion, but we need your help in order to make the year memorable. If anyone has any ideas and/or suggestions please contact Anthony Vikos our chairman or attend one of the meetings that will be held once a month. Ask Anthony when the next meeting will be held.

DONATIONS
There are still two areas that require donors in the continued effort to complete the building and beautification of our church. First, the building of the bump-out of the "Bishops Throne" to have the church in the shape of a cross, and for an Icon on the Baptismal wall of St. John Baptizing Jesus. The bump-out is $15,000 and the Icon $15,000. If you are spiritual inclined to make the offer please see Father Chris.

HAITI RELIEF FUND: We passed a tray last Sunday for this much needed effort for the people of Haiti. Today we will also pass a tray mostly for those who were not present last week. If you wish to give more than a cash offering you may make out a check where we will leave the tray at the back of the church (Narthex) area. Please be as generous as you can be.
GOYA RECRUITING: Our GOYA is looking for more kids to join them. All kids 12 to 17 are welcome to find out more about this group simply by saying hello to the GOYANS who will be sitting at the back of the coffee hour waiting for you. Come and ask them the questions that always wanted to ask about the group. Come join the GOYA.
TRIODION BEGINS :This special period of our church begins today of which Father will explain today. Also, this there is no fasting at all where Wednesday and Friday we are permitted to eat all foods.
Remember no fasting all week.

MEMORIALS: Today's forty-day memorial is for Philip the beloved brother of Mary Goolsby,and annual memorial for Saleem, Rafik and Margaret the father, uncle and aunt of Jacob Tawil. May their souls forever dwell in God's Kingdom.
HAITI RELIEF FUND: We have been asked by our Archdiocese to pass a tray for the people of Haiti. The devastation is enormous and they deserve the help of each one of us. Please be as generous as you can. Also, you may make out checks and leave them in the basket that will be left in the Narthex after the initial collection. For your further information the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) was one of the first organizations to respond to this disaster and we may feel proud of this assistance by the Orthodox Church.
GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS: As the year progresses we will be taking pictures of all our church groups, and enough time be given to each so that all may attend for the photo. We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and we expect to use these photos for the album.
SUNDAY SCHOOL KIDS: We have some kids in the hallway, or even getting refreshments when they ought to be in their classrooms. Parents and our parish council are asked to direct the children to their classes as soon as they are dismissed

ORTHODOX CEMETERY PLOTS:   We wish to remind you not to wait until tragedy strikes then you need to make difficult decisions when in grief. It is always best to have most of your plans taken care of before, of which also divides the expenses during a stretch of time. Call the church office for further information.
COFFEE HOUR TIME:   Some are going for coffee and food before the Liturgy has ended, and unless you have a medical need we ask you not to go before the ending of services. If you wish to be first on line during coffee hour then we suggest you sit up front during the service so that after you receive your antidoron (bread) you will be one of the first on the coffee line.
